The Columbia Gorge

I headed down to the Columbia Gorge last weekend (no...not 'The Gorge' concert venue) and I cannot tell you how much I love the area. If you've never been there, you need to visit. Jon and I jumped in the car on Friday afternoon and drove the 3 hours to a winery in the area to enjoy a concert in their huge outdoor amphitheather. Think amazing views of the Coumbia River and entire Gorge area. The Counting Crows were playing, the Rose was cold and the weather was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more. If you're looking for something to do in August, I would suggest checking out the winery for the Jackson Brown concert (August 22) or John Legend concert (August 29). http://www.maryhillwinery.com/
